An Introduction of Hotel Management

Introduction

The hotel management course has been specially designed to familiarize the student with the hospitality industry with specific reference to hotels. The course will enable the student to pursue hotel line as a career.

General Objectives

School offering this course must have minimum facilities for practical and demonstrations related to kitchen, House Keeping, front office and food and beverage service.


Specific Objectives

On completion of this course the student will be able:

To operate small-scale accommodation and catering establishment
To perform entry level jobs in the core areas of small scale accommodation and catering establishments.
To realize the importance of hospitality industries.

It is well known to all that the emergence of the 21st century with the tremendous growth on tourism and hospitality industry has set up multi-dimensional opportunities in the terms of employment and income. The global socio economic changes posed an unprecedented challenge to the tourism and hospitality entrepreneurs
and to those who were really involved in this sector. It is often said  that who failed to take a challenge can never attain a maturity.
